The highest church tower in the world. The foundation stone for the tower, which is synonymous with the city of Ulm worldwide, was laid on June 30, 1377. Would you like to combine history with a fabulous panoramic view of Ulm in Baden-Württemberg and Neu-Ulm in Bavaria? There are only 768 steps to the top viewing platform at 143 meters.
The monastery was founded in 1126 and is located nearby. Thanks to its educational center for family, environment and culture, the monastery inn and the monastery store, Roggenburg has once again become an important place for the entire region.
Next to the Oberschönenfeld monastery complex is the Museum of Regional Everyday Culture and the Gallery of Contemporary Art, which was awarded the Bavarian Museum Prize in 2019.

Who doesn’t know it: Margarete Steiff GmbH is the world’s best-known toy and cuddly toy manufacturer. In addition to the museum and the adventure world with various attractions, visitors can also have a good time in the shop/factory outlet and the Bistro Knopf.
An adventure for the whole family awaits you in the Cave Adventure World in Giengen/Hürben, one of the longest show caves in southern Germany at 587 m. Embark on an exciting journey of discovery through glittering stalactite worlds.
